How to enable Two Factor Authentication (2fa)

Follow the instructions below to enable two-factor authentication (2FA). This is highly recommended in order to keep your account safe.

Go to your main screen on your mailfloss app and look for your Account Settings.

Once on this screen, go to the Two Factor Authentication option.

By default, this authentication method should appear as disabled. Notice that you need to install one of the listed authenticator suggestions on your smartphone in order to continue with the process. Authy and Google Authenticator are good options. 

Click on the switch when you’re ready.

Now you should have a QR code on your screen, this is for connecting your mailfloss account with the authentication service. Open your authenticator and look for the scan option, then follow the instructions. 

Once you have successfully scanned the QR code, write the 2FA code appearing on your authenticator app in the space below and press the "Enable 2fa" button.

And it’s done! You should be redirected to a screen like this, confirming that now you have enabled the two-factor authentication method on your account.

Now the next time you log in to mailfloss, you will be required to enter the 2FA code from your authenticator app before you are allowed access to your account.
