mailfloss uses only the access a feature needs. You approve it once, on Klaviyo’s consent screen.

## What mailfloss reads

- Your account ID, to confirm a reconnect is the same Klaviyo account.
- Your lists and segments, so you can choose what to verify.
- Profiles in the lists and segments you choose, or all profiles for Autofloss and Decay Protection.
- Your flows, only to pause the mailfloss flow when you turn Instafloss off.

## What mailfloss changes

mailfloss changes only what you turn on:

- **Typo Fixer** corrects the email address on the profile.
- **Profile properties.** mailfloss writes mf\_status, mf\_reason, mf\_score, mf\_suggestion, mf\_fixed, mf\_flossed\_on, mf\_validation\_passed and mf\_mode, so you can segment on results.
- **Cleanup** suppresses the profile (Unsubscribe) or deletes it (Delete from Klaviyo), depending on the option you choose.
- **Instafloss** pauses your mailfloss flow when you turn Instafloss off.

## Permissions mailfloss requests

## What mailfloss stores

mailfloss stores the addresses it verifies and their results in your mailfloss account. Disconnect any time from the connection’s **Advanced** tab. See the [privacy policy](https://mailfloss.com/privacy/).
