mailfloss connects to Kit through the Kit App Store. Kit offers App Store apps on its paid plans.

## Connect from the Kit App Store

### Step 1. In Kit, open Apps, search for mailfloss, and click Install

### Step 2. Sign in to mailfloss, or create a free account

### Step 3. Click "Grant access to mailfloss"

Kit asks you to approve access to your Kit account.

### Step 4. Kit confirms the install and opens your mailfloss Integrations page

## Choose what mailfloss does

Open your Kit connection in mailfloss. The **Overview** tab shows your latest results and a summary of each setting: Cleanup, Typo Fixer, Aggressiveness, Schedule and Advanced.

On the **Schedule** tab, turn on the checks you want:

- **Autofloss** checks everyone who joined since the last run, every night.
- **Instafloss** checks each subscriber the moment they join, through a Kit webhook.
- **Decay Protection** re-checks existing subscribers on a schedule.

## Already connected with an API key?

Install mailfloss from the Kit App Store with the same Kit account. mailfloss upgrades your existing connection in place, and your settings stay as they are.

## Disconnect

Open your Kit connection in mailfloss, go to the **Advanced** tab, and click **Disconnect**. This revokes mailfloss's access to your Kit account. Your subscribers in Kit are not changed.
